Tim and Dawn’s reception on Saturday was at the lovely, classic, historic Heaven On Earth in the Missouri City. The day started with the ceremony down in the chapel. The guests eventually made their way into the Tiffany Ballroom and we started our work. Soon after, Brian went and prepared the bridal party for the introduction which was to “Come Away With Me” by Nora Jones. Tim and Dawn came in to thunderous applause and went into their first dance, “Bless The Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts …GENIUS choice, one of our favorite country songs. The welcome and formal group pictures led right into a great dinner buffet followed by the cake cutting, parents dances, and toasts. The newlyweds gave Dj Regg a big shout out during the toast because he was dj-ing their wedding on his bday! (Yes, we love what we do!)
At that point, it was turned over to us to do our thing. Before we opened the dance floor we warmed it up with a “Couple’s Dance” to Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight”. You can never go wrong with that one! The couple who won had been married 63 years!!! WOW! We kicked off the evening with some oldies and then moved into Top 40 soon after. What a party! Tim and Dawn left under a cascade of floating bubble and made their getaway into their white stretch limo, timeless. Check out the great pix below from photographer Randy Bradley of Original Images.
