Jana and Carlton Chambers - March 16, 2013 (Briscoe Manor)

This St. Patrick's Day weekend we headed out to Briscoe Manor for a beautiful Saturday evening wedding in Richmond, Texas. It was our first time at this enchanting venue set on a tranquil and serene 50 acre estate reflecting true Texas elegance. This distinctive venue was the perfect place for a distinguished couple like Carlton and Jana to celebrate. They booked us THREE years in advance and just from their initial energy in our first consultation we knew a PUMPED PARTY was at hand for their wedding day!

The couple tied the knot outdoors overlooking the glimmer of the private lake under the setting of the magenta orange evening sun. Right after the guests were directed to the courtyard where the live band entertained for the cocktail hour. After a couple pre-party drinks and hors' devours the guests proceeded into the banquet hall to the sights of Darryl & Co. decorations infused with our special touch of decor lighting, a wall monogram, and our  complimentary chic Signature Set-Up.

The bridal party shook the floor as they danced in to "Down for My…" and the newlyweds entered into "Halftime" by The Ying Yang Twins, smiling cheek to cheek . Directly after the introductions, Jana and Carlton shared their first dance to smooth bass vocals  of Gerald Levert's, " I was made to love you"! Great pick guys!

During dinner we mixed in and out of various Jazz and R&B priming the guests for the party and OH BOY were they READY when we opened the dance floor. We didn't need to bring our subwoofers because they shook the floor all night. The only time the guests cleared the floor was for the bouquet toss to Beyonce's, " Girls Run The World" and James Brown's, "The Big Payback"! Everyone was sweating and the bartender was working hard serving a lot of ice in the drinks (thanks to us…lol)! We played everything from Latin, Urban, Funk and more!

We closed out the night with Carlton and Jana last dance to,  "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" by Whitehead and McFadden and they both were  grinning in what we call Signature Smiles! Just the way we love it!
